This retreat contains styles of dance that may not be suitable for minors. Unfortunately we are not able to take any students who are under 18 years old. Young dancers please consider signing up for our Summer Convention or Fall Retreat instead!
Come enjoy three days of dance at CO-KON’s second adult retreat! Full of incredible workshops and technical trainings from the best instructors and dancers in Colorado, our intimate dance retreat will inspire you and broaden your world as well as your skills.
The Winter Retreat revolves around feminine and/or sensual dance styles, encouraging you to explore your sensual power and learn new skills in these various styles. This retreat will involve dances using apparatus such as chairs, platform heels (optional), and possibly more aerial apparatuses like pole and Lyra. Dancers of any gender and orientation are welcome and encouraged.
Respect is a must in our community, and all dancers are required to respect the rules of our retreat including rules around photos/videos of other dancers and instructors as well as required respect and kindness towards all staff, students and instructors. Any unsolicited sexual advances/assault or discriminatory behavior will be met with immediate removal from the retreat with no refund, and possible legal action.
Full Weekend Pass includes:
Thirteen 70-minute workshops, technical trainings and lectures revolving around femme-focused or sensual styles
Guided freestyle
Yoga and Meditation
Community bonding
15-minute massage or injury consultation with a massage therapist (Limited spaces!)
